As a Marketing Specialist, you’ll wear many hats, helping with content creation, event coordination, digital ads, and community engagement. You will be a key player in growing our presence in the Drupal community and supporting the broader marketing team with various initiatives. This role will give you the opportunity to contribute to both national and international projects.
Key responsibilities
- Events: Assist with planning, organizing, and promoting both small and large events, including national and international conferences and webinars.
- Content Creation: Write and publish blog posts, case studies, and customer stories on our website. Collaborate with internal teams and customers to create compelling narratives.
- Community Engagement: Connect with the Drupal community and our internal technical teams to foster relationships and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
- Digital Marketing: Assist with the setup and management of digital marketing campaigns, including Google Ads, LinkedIn ads, SEO, and Google Analytics.
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals, supporting lead generation and customer acquisition initiatives.
- Podcasts & Webinars: Collaborate on the production and promotion of podcasts and webinars, contributing to Dropsolid’s thought leadership efforts.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, content creation, or event coordination (preferably in the tech or SaaS industry).
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging blog posts, case studies, and marketing materials.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing channels such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and SEO.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and other performance tracking tools.
- Bonus: Experience with Drupal, knowledge of open-source communities, or a background in B2B marketing.
